So many kids, so little time
December 16, 2008

This is from Payton’s Jr Cotillion that was Sunday afternoon. We have been really busy around the Barr household. We are all ready and shopped out for Christmas. This is the kids last week of school before break and the older ones don’t go much, if any, the rest of the week- finals. They are exempt from most of them. Next week they will be home trashing the house and eating all of the food, not to mention drinking all of the milk.
Tomorrow is the last night of Wed night church until January, so Payton’s choir will sing and the older kids will have their youth Christmas party. Payton’s school party is Thursday and that might be all there is for the week. Something could come up though, who knows with 4 kids. Sunday Chris, LeAnn, and the boys will be here for Christmas with them. Monday night we will all get together for the kids exchanging the names they drew. Next Wednesday night we will go the the Christmas Eve service at church then to Tic Tocks for finger foods and family time. Christmas day we will be at home in the am then go to Memaw and Grandaddy’s for lunch and the afternoon. That night we come back home and pack. Dave and the boys will leave before the crack of dawn Friday to drive to Grandma Linda’s for the week. Kendall and I will fly out Saturday am. We will fly back the next Saturday. This will be the first Christmas in 14 years that Dave has been home and his mom is so excited. We are going to have a GREAT time. Dave’s sister, Trish will be there and we all go snow skiing on New Year’s Day. Hopefully we will all come back with our bones like we left here with them. We are in for a busy few weeks, but hopefully all of the kids will continue to remember Jesus is the reason for our fun and celebration.
Don’t exspect too often postings. I am trying to keep up with 4 kids, a husband, 2 dogs, many activities and stay on top of thousands of emails…not to mention Facebook. A big job!
