New Investment!

These extra eyes are our latest investment.  Neither one could see, so I thought we might need to check their eyes.  So, they both have new glasses.  They can read the board at school now.  Woohoo!

One week down and one to go.  Dave left last Sunday for Kansas for 2 weeks.  He has a management class he is taking there.  So, I am here to hold down the fort alone.  It is getting better.  We haven’t destroyed anything that we couldn’t fix yet.  The first day I battled an ant invasion.  The next day Payton broke the faucet outside where water was shooting all over the yard.  He fixed it though without Grandaddy having to come out.  I was impressed.  I have been late to the dentist, missed Wednesday night church, and spilled spaghetti sauce all inside the frig.  Needless to say, we don’t function very well without Dave.

Thank goodness it is Friday and we can all sleep in tomorrow without getting up to pack lunches at 6am, remind everybody to brush their teeth 10 times, or make sure Payton is out there for the bus at 7am.  We don’t have much planned for the weekend and we are excited about that.

Don’t these two look totally innocent?  Well, they’re not!!  Here is the hole that they have started digging to China.

  Now, isn’t that nice?  This is only one of several in our backyard now.  If anybody needs anything dug up, just let me know.  I will be happy to lend this “show dog” and her cohort to you.
